TEWS has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Salesforce Administrator.  The Sr. Salesforce Administrator will lead the ongoing development of our deployment. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform. The administrator will work closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business. This role is part technical project manager, part administrator and part Salesforce analyst. The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our CRM platform {Classic and Lightning module}. Additionally, this role will need to work with third party support to ensure proper requirements are delivered to facilitate successful delivery of outsourced projects.


  • Serve as primary system administrator for the environment with over 180 users
  • Make system modifications based on project plan and user-submitted issues/changes
  • Traffic change requests from initial department concept/need to successful testing and completion
  • Analyze Salesforce work order requests and determine potential application throughout organization
  • Make recommendations for work order approval to appropriate members of management
  • Communicate work order status to departments on a regular basis
  • Manage processes, data feeds and other integrations
  • Create new reporting capabilities and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Helping users develop or fine-tune reports so they yield meaningful metrics
  • Troubleshooting workflows, approval cycles, or flows as needed
  • Expanding or refining sharing rules and access privileges so records can be properly viewed and manipulated (while keeping the special records locked or hidden altogether).
  • Run all APEX tests in the system to spot any new errors that may have crept in due to harmless changes in validation rules, triggers, or data cleanup.
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Create custom objects when necessary

Project Management

  • Embrace Agile Software Development methodology
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Provide weekly status reports on Salesforce support queue and project statuses
  • Work independently with members of the user community to define and document development requirements
  • Work with third party firms selected as development partners to oversee outsourced development work and/or projects

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain security including sharing rules and security levels.
  • Design, Create and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Monitor application storage usage and archive data as needed.
  • Run the Reports report to identify reports that haven't been run in six months
  • Examine any new picklist values that have been modified or added to any fields in the system and using the IDEs Search function to identify the impact of those changes across all the Booleans, formulas, and APEX/JavaScript/VisualForce code in the system. Correct any elements that have been impacted
  • Create and maintain dashboards.
  • Create and maintain reports including folder maintenance.
  • Build and manage report folders for reps to improve sales efficiency
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors and the application development teams 


  • Bachelor's degree from accredited four-year college or university plus five to seven years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • Certified Salesforce Administrator / Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Strong understanding of the platform, with the ability to build custom apps and objects, formula fields, workflows, custom views, and other content of intermediate complexity
  • Strong understanding of best practices and functionality
  • Experience supporting migration of Salesforce org from Classic to Lightning
  • Strong data management abilities
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Well organized, critical thinker with ability to excel on a team
  • Ability to succeed managing multiple projects and priorities with tight deadlines
  • Ability to use independent judgement and critical thinking effectively and consistently
  •  Willingly cooperates and works collaboratively with all staff to accomplish goals.
  • Able to communicate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams verbally and in writing
