Knowledge/Skills/Abilities required for this role:
Experience supporting a sales team
Strong organizational skills
Proficient in MS Office: Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to coordinate and follow through on several projects concurrently
Experience working in an ERP system would be a big plus. (i.e.: building quotes, tracking samples, monitoring project status, logistics, etc.)
This person is the liaison between the company sales representative and the customer.
The job duties include working heavily with the manufacturing center to build quotes, send out samples to clients and potential clients, track the samples, make purchase orders. Will handle the logistics behind sending out orders (sometimes the project takes 3-6 months from order to final delivery).
