Hospitality Group in South Orlando has an opening for a 3 month part-time contract administrative assistant.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Supports the membership team on a part-time basis with project-related activities, including member events. Provides daily administrative support to Director and department team and support to Senior Vice-President Membership as needed. Ideal candidate possesses a positive, customer-focused attitude, demonstrates the ability to anticipate needs, and is detail-oriented and organized.

  1. Telephone skills – outbound and inbound, combined with Salesforce data system. Focus on high volume of soft-sell phone calls to members with awareness around upcoming major member events, as well as handling and routing inbound calls to the department. Must have friendly, professional phone skills, be able to provide excellent customer service for all member inquiries and issues; accurately entering and maintaining data in systems.
  2. Provides primary administrative support to support Director as well as the department, which includes: answering phones in a polite and professional manner and assisting in preparing and routing correspondence such as new member communications, dues letters, suspend and cancellation letters, and thank you emails; distributing approvals as required; copying; scanning; scheduling and setting up meetings/meeting rooms; monitoring team and personal email box.
  3. Project management of the collection and tracking of charity payments; ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  4. Serves as a brand ambassador. Monitors current and expired websites for inappropriate logo usage.
  5. Ensures own work area is maintained in a safe and clean manner.

Requirements:

40 cwpm, high level of proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Database experience preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Excellent phone skills this will be a major part of the responsibilities the person would be on the phone 80-90% of the time
    • Make outbound calls
    • It would be soft sell over the phone. 

PREFERENCES:

  • Would like them to have worked in Sales Force if not at least knows how to use various databases
  • Detailed oriented
  • High level of confidentiality

SHIFT: 8:00 -5:00; Part-time 20 hours a week

PAY RATE: $15/hr
