Donations Coordinator position open with a Christian organization located in South Orlando 32821
Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities needed for this role:
Experience with Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge OR another donor software program
Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus
3–5 years of experience in Marketing and/or experience as a development professional with fundraising success.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook and Excel
Ability to work with diverse groups of people in an atmosphere of collaboration and service.
Possess excellent strategic planning, organizational, written, verbal and public speaking skills.
The Donor Coordinator supports the mission of the organization by promoting donation opportunities, meeting with new and potential donors to understand and meet their needs; building and maintaining relationships with donors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Respond to all requests immediately.
Meet with donors.
Track all donor activity daily in the Blackbaud system; make note of items of interest or concern for follow up.
Update pledge payments received.
Write Thank You notes timely to donors in response to donations received.
Prepare donor certificates and send to donors.
