A financial planning company in Maitland, FL, is looking for a Broker Assistant. This position will assist with client services for this independent advisory firm. 

Required Skills:

  • Associates degree

  • Experience in financial services/banking 

  • Series 65, Series 66 or Series 7 license

  • Versed in financial terminology (IRA vs Roth IRA)

  • Strong organizational skills 

  • Strong in Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Customer service mentality

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


  • Bachelors degree

  • 2-14 Life and Variable Annuity License (a big plus if you do!)

Job Duties:

  • Provide office support to sales and service team members 

  • Daily service support (phone, e-mail, fax, etc.) to clients/customers

  • Prepare and process new account paperwork and account transfers

  • Update clients on account status, changes, transfers via phone and mail

  • Assist with answering questions and providing service support to clients

  • Maintain and update database and client accounts

  • Generate reports
