One of our clients near Sanford is seeking an Accounting Assistant with a construction background to join their team!  

About the role:

Advanced Accounting Assistant is needed for Commercial Construction firm in the Orlando area. Position requires a candidate with at least 3 years (accounting or related industry) experience in bookkeeping, administrative support. The candidate is expected to be well versed in accounting functions including, but not limited to:

AIA Documents
Accounts Receivable
Payroll Process
Notice to Owners
Lien Releases
Prepare general ledger journal entries
Review invoices to ensure proper recording of accounts receivable
Create and maintain computer-based account files
Payroll (knowledge of ADP helpful, but not required)
Health Insurance processing
401(K) processing
Industry-specific experience helpful. Experience with Foundation or similar accounting software is also a plus. A notary is a plus, but not required. Candidate should possess excellent administrative, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.

Required Experience:
Payroll experience
3 years (accounting or related industry) experience in bookkeeping, administrative support

Preferred Experience:
Experience with Construction Billing (AIA documents, Notice to owner's, lien releases)
Construction experience preferred
