Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Vision & Leadership:
- Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy to align with overall business objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to guide strategic planning.
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive IT security strategy.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage risk assessments and mitigation strategies to safeguard against cyber threats and data breaches.
- Plan, develop, and optimize IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data centers.
- Ensure IT systems’ high availability, reliability, and scalability to support business operations.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Oversee the selection, deployment, and integration of software applications that meet business needs.
- Manage software lifecycle processes, including updates, upgrades, and patches.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to ensure successful software rollouts and user adoption.
- Direct the management and optimization of database systems to ensure data integrity, availability, and security.
- Develop and implement database policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Implement and manage reporting tools and systems to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and oversee IT performance metrics and dashboards.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting on IT project status, security incidents, and infrastructure performance.
- Oversee IT project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Establish and enforce project management methodologies and best practices.
Manage project teams, including internal staff and external vendors, to achieve project goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team.
- Provide training opportunities and support professional growth for IT staff.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to understand their technology needs and challenges.
- Communicate IT strategies, goals, and performance metrics to stakeholders and executives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for IT-related matters and provide regular updates on IT initiatives and performance.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role, including experience in security, infrastructure, software implementation, database management, and project management.
- Knowledge of Oracle JD Edwards ERP, Microsoft Power BI, and Oracle Application Cloud CRM preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles and practices.
- Proven experience in managing complex IT infrastructure and operations.
- Demonstrated expertise in software implementation and database management.
- Proficiency in reporting tools and data analytics.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder management.
- Experience with IT budgeting and financial management.
