MINNETONKA, MN or MADISON, WI 3 days a week!
$55-$65/hour, depending on experience

You are:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Pre-Law, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5–8 years of experience negotiating complex contracts, with a strong background in IT and/or Operations contracts.

Proven ability to lead high-stakes negotiations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Advanced critical thinking, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.

Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Organized, strategic, and capable of managing multiple complex negotiations at once.
What you will do?
We are seeking a Complex/Lead Contract Negotiator to lead strategic and cross-functional contract negotiations. This senior-level role is accountable for setting negotiation strategies, mitigating risk, and securing best-in-class contract terms.
Essential Job Functions:

Lead end-to-end negotiation strategy for complex and/or high-value vendor contracts.

Negotiate contracts covering pricing, terms and conditions, risk mitigation, and service-level guarantees.

Advise internal leaders on negotiation strategies and resolution of contract escalations.

Collaborate with Legal, Technology, Finance, and Operations to evaluate deviations from standard terms.

Identify and implement opportunities to improve contract language, compliance, and vendor performance.

Establish strong relationships with senior business stakeholders and vendors to drive alignment and partnership.
