Position Responsibilities:

  • Process all sales office requests in a proficient and accurate manner
  • Processes payroll for the company
  • Performs all aspects of A/P for multiple companies including invoice coding and entry, check processing, vendor statement reconciliation and discrepancy investigation
  • Processes expense reports in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with departmental procedure
  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
  • Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Accounting or Finance degree or equivalent experience is preferred
  • Minimum of one year of accounting experience in a small organization
  • Basic understanding of General Ledger coding
  • Basic math skills required; the ability to add, subtract, or divide quickly and correctly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail 
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Must be able to complete knowledge testing on Microsoft Excel
